Dear humans,
Bat out of Hell is now available for preorder on Amazon, as the readers in the Fantasy Worlds of RJ Blain group seemed really, really eager to have the preorder of this cute little book.
Preorders on Barnes & Noble and Apple Books will be coming soon. Kobo and Google Play preorders will only be made available when the book is completely finished. (The female does not have sufficient mental strength to handle preorders on these vendors at this time. But don’t worry! They’ll be ready closer to Halloween.)
Release date: Halloween.
Yes, we realize that there will be two Bernadette Franklin books releasing back to back.
About the Book:
After shredding a Prada for a costume, Shirley Manchester fears she opened a portal to hell. With a fashion designer out for revenge hot on her heels, a secret admirer on a mission to evict her from the pool of eligible bachelorettes, and a relentless streak of bad luck, surviving through Halloween is turning into a sketchy proposition.
Next time, Shirley will remember there are better ways to dodge an unwanted advance than kissing a random stranger.
Escaping the party turns out to be only the beginning of Shirley’s woes. Curses aren’t supposed to be real, but after the going keeps getting tougher, she’s at real risk of becoming a believer in the things that go bump in the night.
The tricks should’ve ended in October, but her November is looking to be one hell of a wild ride.
Note from the cat: We’re concerned the human has lost her fucking mind. Bat out of Hell is priced at $2.99. If it exceeds the word count she wants, she’ll raise the price after it releases.
Side note from the cat: The female adjusted her schedule to make more space for Bat out of Hell and is limiting her work on Cold Flame to around a thousand words a day to make space for other things. Cold Flame will be finished as it’s finished.
Yet another flipping note from the cat: Fuck, female! Can’t you do anything coherently and efficiently? Apparently not! Cold Flame is 80,000 words so far. She’d planned for 75,000 words. It’s nowhere near done, so the female is very sorry it’s not ready, but it needs time to FINISH MURDERING THE FEMALE.
Noooo, she’s not at all upset the book outgrew its bitches.
Also, it contains no action or adventure. Apparently, you crazy people enjoyed this in Storm Called, so whatever, but the female has already come to terms with the book being a disaster. She’s running around with a bell chanting, “Doom, doom, doom.”
Yet another flipping note from the cat: She is working on Taken a little each night. As soon as it’s ready, the Royal States box set, Beginnings, will be prepared for sale. Taken will also release as an individual title.
Okay. I’m done now, humans. Thanks for dealing with the insanity.

Happy Reading!

Still can’t tell if “outgrew its bitches” is a typo or not…
Both Ginger Snapped and Bat out of Hell appear as only ebook preorders, will paper copies be there later or never?

Good point, re: the missing “r”

Only I know the truth. As I am a cat, only I will know the truth. This goes to my grave with me, humans.
Bwahahahhahhahahahaaaa!
Print can’t happen until book is 100% finished. Print will happen when book is 100% finished.

While we leave secrets in cat’s paws, the evidence suggests involvement of uncle Freud.
Okok, thanks. Though I thought preorder for print might happen before print itself is ready to happen, what do I know about how it best works on your end? I’m happy as long as it’s happening at all.

Print on demand is legit that. They will print as preorders come in, so the books MUST be fully done before print can be set up. 🙂

I loved loved loved Storm Called – cant wait for Cold Flame! (But I will happily read everything else, of course)

The amount of writing you do is insane. I humbly bow before you (the female, not the cat. I scratch the cat’s chin.). Take a deep breath and/or a warm bath and enjoy the weekend.
