Dear humans,
The female has lost her mind. Again. No matter where I turn, office supplies clutter my path. I’ve found her on the floor, surrounded with pens and planners, giggling like a maniac on a sugar high.
She’s been found hissing protectively over her schedule.
Even worse, she’s now wearing a doohickey on her wrist that yells at her once an hour to get up and move around. She’s taken to prancing around our home lacking all semblance of dignity and restraint.
We felines are concerned.
But, she’s happy, and she’s excited about her ‘scheduling’ and she’s found a method that lets her get good work done each day without being overwhelmed. This is good. We thing.
All that said, it is now ~90 days until the release of Water Witch and Double Trouble: A Magical Romantic Comedy (with a body count.)
The female, being a benevolent idiot spirit, has loaded the preorders in for Amazon. Other vendors will be coming soon. She will work on those vendors as soon as she has reasonable time. We will post again when the links to other vendors are available.
Water Witch DOES contain Double Trouble, so unless you really love the cover or just want to feed me extra treats, don’t get both. (Unless you want to. We won’t say no if you do. I mean, the Double Trouble cover is adorabubble.)
See? Adorkable, even.
The Water Witch description is boring and just says it’s about Dustin, and well, Dustin fans want it, so I’ll just let Dustin’s presence as the main star do the talking for me.
About Double Trouble
Layla, a recovering drug addict, reformed kleptomaniac, and general troublemaker, believes she has a one-way ticket straight to hell to go with her general rap sheet. Instead of jail time, she’s ordered to perform ninety days of community service.
Her job is simple: she must keep two unicorns out of trouble.
It doesn’t take her long to learn the truth: she’s been assigned to a dose of double trouble, and wherever the unicorns go, chaos and mayhem follow in their wake.
One wants to take over the world.
The other wants in her pants.
Unless she pulls out all the stops, Layla won’t escape her community service time single or sane.
Warning: this novella contains magic, mayhem, unicorns, romance, and bodies. Proceed with Caution.
A note to the perverts out there: we already established unicorns are shapeshifters, thank you.
We like treats, and while the female doesn’t know this yet, all profits go to my toys, treats, and whatever I want. I’ll get her a pack of pens so she’s distracted. She’s easily amused.
Release week, the female will do giveaways and stuff as normal for these titles. She’s just too busy doing other things to set them up right now. And that’s okay. They’ll be coming–just when the titles release.
In other news, the Fox Witch World being developed to replace Witch & Wolf is going to be amazing. The next trilogy in the world set will be ready for your admirations next week.
Also, fun fact: 2020 will have two Witch & Wolf stories worked on: License to Kill and Wolf Hunt are both confirmed on the schedule. Dual Nature will be completed in 2021 along with The Edge of Midnight, thus completing the main novels in the set.
Witch Wolf, the second Dustin Walker anthology, will be worked on in 2020.
After that, the female will go through her massive binder of Witch & Wolf story concepts and pick one a year to work on. That will give her enough lead time to hire her designer to add new covers.
Try not to get too excited.
Also, the female lied about the dates on some projects. Something got moved up to 2020, and she isn’t telling you what. It’s just going to show up as a preorder one day, and she’s going to go neener neener neener and you’ll have to be okay with that.
(That was so cat I am proud of myself.)
Anyway, preorders are live, have fun, and enjoy the stories on November 26, 2019!

Yay, water witch pre ordered ? ?
Valerie Peterson
Preorders are an evil delight! Yea! New RJ! boo have to wait! Thank you for continuing to write. Love everything I’ve read and really like the fur ruler of all blog.
Renee Wittman
What is this magical scheduling/working process that you speak of? Because, seriously, this skill probably applies to all the writers that follow you and are struggling.
Karen Fontneau
Hey, RJ,,,,your cats are upset….maybe give them a corner without any supplies? Maybe and empty box? I love your body count stories,,,,keep writing,,,,but hug your cats!
Christine
Oops, accidentally pre-ordered them both! 🙂 Please congratulate your female on her new pens – you can never have too many pens…
Leslie
So excited!

Thanks for the heads up that Double Trouble is in Water Witch. Hate unintentional double buying. So Sorry that the fur ruler will not be getting treat money from me. Unless Fur Ruler is hijacking from Water Witch preorders!

Just so I can plan ahead … is Double Trouble going to aggravate my bacon addiction? So many of the books in this universe do.

Why do some books have a publication date, 2020 etc., and others don’t. I’m trying to find out if Dual Nature is published or not. Just finished Pack Justice and hoped for more. Thank you.

The book list is a work in progress. If it has a publication date, it’s either a relic from a template if it’s not published, a preorder date (the 2020 dates,) or it has been published. Dual Nature is not published yet. It will be a while, but Dual Nature will be worked on next year. (And I’m expecting about a year to write it because it will be a side project.)

I just pre-ordered Ginger Snapped. Already have Double Trouble on pre-order, but cannot locate Water Witch as I am a nook not kindle reader (meaning B&N not Amazon). Will Water Witch be released anywhere except Amazon or it exclusive there for first couple months?
I too eagerly await all of your releases. I see your name and know I will enjoy the story. So thank you!
The Sneaky Kitty Critic
It will be available! It’s already on B&N, and as soon as it’s completely finished, it will be on Kobo. Never fear, it’s coming!
