Dear humans,

The female has been busy. She is revamping as much of her books as humanely possible as part of her ‘make words go better’ campaign. So, there’s a lot in the works, and the wench is making me tell you all about it.

Do I look like a servant to you? She thinks I’m a servant!

As my lack of fucking thumbs bars me from entering the treat container without help, I’m stuck doing this wretched task. Revenge will be coming, female. Just you wait and see.

1: The Royal States series is getting a major face lift. Keep reading, as the prices of books are changing based on their word count.

A: Null & Void will be priced at $5.99 effective sometime on Saturday, February 8, 2020. That’s today. It, along with the rest of the series, is getting a face lift, including named chapters.

B: The Captive King’s price will increase to $5.99.

C: A Guiding Light’s price will increase to $5.99.

D: Huntress’s price will increase to $5.99.

E: There’s a trend here, as the Royal States books typically exceed 70k words, which is when books are priced at $5.99.

F: Taken will remain at $3.99. Beginnings will remain at $9.99.

G: The series page for The Royal States is being set up as we speak, in timeline order of the books, so Storm Called is the first book in the series.

Order will be as follows:

Storm Called, Taken, Null & Void, The Captive King, A Guiding Light, Huntress, Bonds, and Cold Flame.

H: The next book in the series is Runaway, which happens immediately following the events of Cold Flame. After Runaway is The Prince of New York. Deidre’s novel, likely told from the perspective of her future partner, will be next. It does not have a title.

Yes, The Prince of New York is about Ian. It will be told from the woman’s perspective.

I: I will probably write the Civil War trilogy after Deidre’s novel, which will have its own trilogy page. The preorder for the second book will go up for 11 months after the first book’s release. The third book will release 11 months after the second book’s release.

They are titled: Hidden Talents, Broken Trusts, Final Stand.

2: Cold Flame’s price is increasing to $5.99 tomorrow, Sunday February 9, 2020. If you don’t preorder before then, you’ll be paying the higher rate. You can preorder at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Apple Books, and Kobo.

Cold Flame releases on February 18.

A: The female is in the final proofing stages now. Send hot chocolate and hugs. There are tears.

B: She is comfort eating spicy chicken soup, which is lighting her dentist-assaulted gums on fire. Serves her right for being stupid. P.S.: Don’t do that, female. That’s stupid.

Female is just shoveling more of the hot spicy chicken soup into her mouth and growling. All righty, then…

Also worthy of note, the female just inhaled a noodle, and let me tell you, the reaction of a female inhaling a hot spicy noodle into her lung is absolutely hilarious.

3: Gauntlet has been tossed regarding Dirty Deeds. Here’s the deal:

The version in Dirty Deeds will be slightly (okay, a lot) different from the solo version, which will come later.How will it be different?

Everything but the last scene will be the same, unless I decide to add some bonus scenes to open up some plot lines, but there will definitely be some minor changes to the last scene so it can continue. (Think along the lines of Last but not Leashed except the solo release will have the extended version/muuucchhh more book to it.)Now, you’ll still be getting 45,000 words worth of novel in Dirty Deeds.

And, since I’m a complete and total jackass… the better Dirty Deeds does, the longer Doggone Mess will be.(I have ideas. I have so many ideas.)So, the challenge is this: Should Dirty Deeds go right to the top and land on USA Today, the final novel will be a 150,000+ word monster of a romp.

I’ll bring Satin Himself–or his lovely little wife–out to play. Who knows who else might show up in this one?? (I might do this anyway.)

Bailey will make an appearance and create trouble.And, to make it a little nicer on your wallets, no matter how well Dirty Deeds does, I will be doing a $2.99 preorder cycle for Doggone Mess. (And it will stay $2.99 for its release week.)(That’s my way of saying thank you for having acquired the baby book in the set.)

You can preorder Dirty Deeds at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, and Apple Books. Yes, there will be a PREORDER for a paperback of the book. It’ll be a monster, as it will use large-print for easy reading. It’ll also be expensive because it’s going to have a lot of pages due to the large font for easy reading. At current, I do NOT know what trim size it will have due to the size of the book. (It’s a big baby.)

You know you want Satin and Bailey in it… but the rules are the rules.

The corgi is named Crowley, and he belongs to the female’s friend, Diana Pharaoh Francis. She’s amazeballs. She writes books. The Path Trilogy is, to this day, the female’s favorite, because it’s just amazing.

Last but not least, the female is standardizing her book pricing across all of her pen names. Here is how it will work:

Books between 0 and 34,999 words will be priced at $2.99.

Books between 35,000 and 49,999 words will be priced at $3.99.

Books between 50,000 and 69,999 words will be priced at $4.99.

Books between 70,000 and 149,999 words will be priced at $5.99.

Books 150,000+ words will be priced at $6.99 unless it is a collection of novels, which will typically be priced at $9.99. Other anthologies will have varied price points depending on content.

This is written on a sticky placed on her computer, so it must be the truth.

Price changes will be implemented within the following few days, so if you haven’t gotten all of the books, you may want to before the price changes go into effect. (Some have already been processed.)

As a general rule, this does mean prices have gone up on some titles, but it’s a better reflection of the work and effort that went into those books.

P.S.: The female will be maintaining the larger trim size for the mag rom com series ONLY, but the interiors will be adjusted to have the larger print and will be priced competitively for bookstores. This means they will be prohibitively expensive. The mass market size, which the female prefers, will be priced to be less enticing for book stores and limits her profits to around $1 per book. That’s not a lot of profit, but paperbacks are expensive if you can’t do a huge print run.

The female does not have the storage space to do a mass print run.

Note: this change was done to make her books more accessible to the disabled, and while the new trim sizes won’t match on anything other than the mag rom coms, the management is absolutely not sorry for making this change.

On a happy note, the female is seriously contemplating an early no-preorder release of Murder Mittens should Dirty Deeds reach a certain sales goal. She is uncertain what the sales goal will be, and it would depend on editor availability if it would actually happen.

But she’s thinking about it.
