Dear humans,
We’re (not really) sorry we didn’t post anything yesterday. The female was busy playing SIMS4, and she refuses to be at all sorry about this. In good news, she didn’t become busy with SIMS4 until after she wrote some words on Booked for Murder. We’re very proud she was able to write yesterday.
Good job, female!
We hope you have enjoyed the book faire. We had fun with it, and we’re going to be doing another one after Catnapped releases next year. We might do them more often if people enjoyed them.
As a reminder, the faire is the female’s way of thanking other authors who helped share and promote her books, as she doesn’t do a lot of the other kinds of tit-for-tat things authors do. (For example, she doesn’t feature many books in the newsletters because of how we of the Furred & Frond Management operate them.)
Monster Academy (Catherine Banks) is a YA urban fantasy releasing on June 2, 2020. We won’t lie. The Kitty Cat is one of the female’s close friends, and we can has love her dearly. We are biased, so please take a moment to click on over to her amazon page and peruse the rest of her offerings for samples and other books she’s written. If you enjoy reverse harem, she has books for you. Monster Academy is priced at $3.99.

They thought they’d have it easy being monster elites, but these three best friends still have to deal with pop quizzes, crushes, and even worse…humans.
Frances Stein, Loralie Reaper, and Tsukiko Okami just want to play games and relax after their classes. Any hopes of chilling out, however, are destroyed when humans attack Monster Academy and try to use the students for ransom.
In order to defeat the humans and protect their fellow monsters, they must work side by side with their crushes without giving away their secrets. Of course, that would be a lot easier if they were able to stick together, but in a move that betrays insider knowledge, the BFFs are separated.
By tapping into their monstrous powers and working with their crushes, they will open their hearts and unlock abilities long thought dead. But will it be enough to save all of monster-kind? It’s going to be one hell of a year at Monster Academy.
Out like a Goddess (April Canavan) is a cozy paranormal mystery with no smexy times and suitable for a PG-13 audience. The cover has pink, y’all. It has pink in copious qualities. We do very much like the color pink. (And April is good peoples. We like April.) We are very biased in today’s edition of the book faire. $4.99 and in Kindle Unlimited.

They say she’s a goddess, but she definitely doesn’t act like one.
Evangeline Lewis thinks the gods must be crazy. First, they say she’s a goddess, and now they’ve given her a job that almost no one can do: fix whatever the gods of Olympus break.
Soon, Eva takes her first official client and discovers that someone is kidnapping gods…and no one on Olympus cares. Her investigation leads her deep into the inner workings of Olympus, and the gods that call it home. With visions of what’s to come, Eva finds herself in a race against time to find and confront the force behind the vanishing gods.
With every disappearance, the stakes only get more dire. When Eva’s visions finally reveal the culprit, she’s left with a difficult choice: embrace her true nature as a goddess and all the pain that comes with it…or leave Olympus to face total, irreparable destruction.
A Witch Called Red (Sami Valentine) is a rated-r urban fantasy with no smexy times, so we’ll assume there is an epic ton of language and violence. This cover is amazeballs, humans. From the series text work to the color patterns to the focal points, we love this cover. It’s just nice. We haven’t read this book, so please take your usual precautions. $3.99, and also available in Kindle Unlimited.

Red can’t remember her past. But her enemies remember her… and want revenge.
In the dark underworld, she is known as Red, a witch trained as a supernatural bounty hunter, where she came from is a mystery.
When a murdered model washes up on a beach, Red knows the bite marks on the victim can mean only one thing. Teaming up with Lucas, a punk rock vampire with a soul, Red goes to Los Angeles to investigate.
Instead of angels in the shadow of the Hollywood Sign, she only finds more bodies. And a city run by a vampire queen in Lululemon teetering on the brink of supernatural civil war.
Red needs to keep her wits sharp. And her stake sharper. Or she’ll die before she even learns her real name…
We hope you have enjoyed the faire, humans!
The female needs to return to work, so we’re off. Happy reading, and have a great day!
P.S.: two boxes are going to the post office, and postcards/letters will resume next week.

The female is building another sims house. She loves it. She’s crazy. Please ignore the spaceship. She was working on a really tedious achievement and needed her sims to be doing something during the down time.
The basement will be an old ruins. Every Tuesday in game, she can work on a new room/area of her house. She is having a great time.
