Dear humans,
After a deal with loan sharks sours, Darlene’s brother is permanently transformed into a chipmunk. Not one to accept impossibility as a good excuse for failure, she’s determined to rescue her brother and secure revenge against those who’d poisoned him with grade-a transformatives.
If she wants to perform a miracle, she’ll need to join forces with a divine, but the man upstairs and his angels refuse to help.
None of the other so-called benevolent divines are willing to help her, either.
Running out of time and options, Darlene prepares to storm the gates of hell for her brother.
She never expected to fall in love with the Devil.
Warning: this novel contains a woman with a chip on her shoulder, humor, and one hell of a hero. Proceed with caution.

While not all libraries will order the titles, some will, and it doesn’t hurt to ask your friendly librarians if they’ll be willing to circulate a copy!
Audiobook: It has been contracted, it will be a while. (Expect 3-5 months. Sorry. That’s how long audiobooks take. 1-2 months for production, 1-2 weeks for proofing, 1-2 months for audio distribution to vendors.)
We hope you enjoy the book! If you love it, please review it, and take a moment to mark great reviews as helpful. (It’s really nice when you do this, and makes the female not sad.) Marking the great reviews as helpful is an excellent way to help your favorite authors out. (Let the positivity rise to the top!)
And now, the female is retreating to her bunker, where she will… hey… wait… PUT THAT COFFEE DOWN, FEMALE. No. Not for you! What do you mean ‘fuck today’ and you’re ‘having coffee or somebody dies’?
Damn it, female.
I guess she’s having coffee today.
P.S.: Don’t let the PA find out. It’s between you, me, and the rest of the internet, but not the PA. She’ll yell… justifiably. Possibly righteously.

Looking forward to starting this tonight. Just from the sneak peak in Booked For Murder I have the feeling Darlene will get a place in my heart.

Alright, I finished early this morning and I laughed so hard in so many places. I seriously want to be Darlene when I grow up. The book was great and I love having so much back story on several different couples.

Great book, hopefully there will be a fallow up on Darlene one day. Patiently waiting for flame game. Get some rest and let the ideas flow.

We’ll keep the coffee a secret and no one will tell your PA. I started reading Chip last night and love Darlene but I knew I’d love her from other books she’s been in. Going to get back into after work even though I want to throw work away and read my book.

Thank you! Very nice book. A new Blain always makes the day a joy.
