Dear humans,
The female has gone, quite possibly, truly insane this time. She has taken to stabbing pieces of cloth with sharp, pointy things, muttering curses, counting… possibly casting some dark spell… we really aren’t sure. (She’s cross-stitching, for the humans who are curious about her latest shenanigans.)
So far she has started two projects and has finished nothing, but a few more colored x marks appear on the cloth every day.

Age Rating: 18+
Note(s) from the Publisher: Contains adult subject matter. Standalones in series, no cliffhangers.
As a Commander in the Terran space program, I never expected to wake up from cryosleep in a cage. When I’m rescued by a fierce Mosauran dragon warrior, I am both grateful and wary. Soran is a Prince of the Empire, and his species is one of the most feared in the galaxy.
But the more time we spend together, the more I find myself drawn to him in ways I don’t understand. Especially since he’s working to keep me out of the hands of the A’kai master he rescued me from. The master who believes his species survival depends upon a cure found only in Terran blood. He will stop at nothing to recapture me in the hopes that he can use me to find my home world. I have to find Terra before the A’kai do—the fate of my people hangs in the balance.
Our Thoughts: The female direly wishes she could have the heroine’s hair. Rabid grease weasel hair does not do pretty things like that. Rabid grease weasel hair attacks all who dare to get too close. The heroine does not have rabid grease weasel hair. She has nice hair.
We are slightly concerned about scale on skin action, and we fear the female will spend at least an hour debating partial scale coverage on aliens.
It’s the little things in life. They amuse her.
Also, this is a kidnapping novel, and the female lives for kidnapping novels. It is her favorite trope. “Hero or Heroine becomes unconscious” is her second favorite trope. Defenseless protagonists make the female unreasonably happy. Don’t be surprised if the female makes a list of various ways to make characters become unconscious, and then she works to include at least one in every book for eternity. She will linger as a ghost to write out every unconsciousness state to be written. For eternity.
On a side note, the female generally doesn’t like first person book descriptions. It makes her twitchy. But she writes in first person for the most part.
Also, the female just got yelled at by the birds. The feeder is low…

Liza Moultrie has been on the run from her past for over a year.
She has tried to make sense of the events surrounding the attack that brought her life to a screeching hault. Life in Helen, Georgia has been kind to her and the friendships she found there have made the healing process a little easier, if painstakingly slow. Unable to distinguish nightmares from memories, she turns to the two guys who stomped into her life without warning.
Parker and Kade James have secrets of their own, and apparently they’re bad at keeping them. Helen was supposed to be one more stop on the road, one more paycheck. That was until they met their mate. Their mate. Two brothers, one seemingly human girl, and they’re both drawn to her. When Liza’s past catches up to her, can the brothers keep her safe? Can she let them in and accept her place as their mate?
With danger stalking her, literally, throughout the town she has come to think of as her refuge, Liza has only one choice: Trust them.
Our Thoughts: Big Void Kitties! We wish the colors were more pronounced and everything wasn’t so dark, as it’s very difficult for the female to see with her dud eyes, and the details disappear in the cover. We do like the pink! And the Big Void Kitties! Void kitties! Void kitties! Void kitties!
Reverse harem isn’t our thing, nor is trois menage, but we know a bunch of our readers like that sort of thing, so this one is for you!

Follow Silma’s story as she makes choices that could end her chances of love and acceptance or lead her down a different path.
Our Thoughts: The cover we were given for the book faire (displayed) has a different author name from the cover on Amazon. As such, we have put all of the authors on the list. in other news, we like the title font on this book. It’s interesting, and it is very easy for the female to read. Hooray! We like when the female can easily read titles. (It’s a thing with her.)
We are very confused about the presentation of this one. It’s like being presented as a memoir, as the character is listed as an author. It feels very meta. Very twisty turny. This one is in Kindle Unlimited, so the twisty turnys are easily accessible.
The female would like to have this heroine’s hair, too. That is not angry rabid grease weasel hair. (True story, the female managed to soak in a nice bath last night, but she was so exhausted she was unable to locate the required spoons to wash the rabid grease weasel hair. It is very angry, very grease weasely… definitely rabid now.
We hope the female has better luck tonight.

Emma’s to-do list:
1- dump Tyler
2- survive new school
3- rock senior year
My life was as perfect as a teenage girl could hope it would be: friends, boyfriend, straight-A student, loving parents, and all that jazz. Until my entire world comes crashing down. All right, that may be a bit dramatic, but come on, what sane person wants to move half-way across the country after their senior year has already started?
That’s not all that happened, but I digress. My entire world gets shaken up and suddenly I find myself in the middle of freaking nowhere Nebraska surrounded by three cute guys…
Reid, the clown of the group,
Kingston, the laidback, go with the flow kind of guy,
and Jesse, the closed off one you don’t even want me to get started on.
Anyway, so here I am facing all sorts of challenges I never even thought of such as a creepy classmate, a mean Assistant Principal, and trouble with the law, but they’ve got my back.
We can totally handle our senior year and make it to graduation, right?
The High School Clowns & Coffee Grounds Series is a four-book WhyChoose/Reverse Harem series featuring MFMM meaning the female main character doesn’t have to choose between her love interests.
Our Thoughts: This cover is super cute! We like super cute things. The text layout makes the female turn her head to the side a little, but other than that, super cute! We like cute things.
Alas, the female doesn’t read RH books because they do not interest her, but this one should interest a bunch of her readers, so here it is!
Plus the cover is super cute.
Poor heroine seems to have rabid grease weasel hair that has been somewhat tamed and threatened into somewhat cooperation. Good job taming the rabid grease weasel hair!
The female wishes her rabid grease weasel hair was kinder. Or that it would stop turning into a halo of static electricity whenever washed. Rabid grease weasel hair becomes Rabid Electric Weasel Hair once washed.
That’s right, humans. The female just can’t win.
Those are our books for today’s edition of the book faire! We hope you find something you’ll like.
P.S.: If you don’t hear from the female tomorrow, the rabid grease weasel hair got her.

Read License to Kill. Tough read, but very good. Holding on to patience because I know we read faster than SuperWordWoman can write. Thank you. Merry Christmas!
