The female had, before posting the poll, set up a minimum goal of 20 people saying ‘yes’ before she would start the kickstarter.
It took you approximately ten minutes to have 20 yeses.
She is sulking in a corner.
Cost: $25 per book plus shipping.
Shipping Locations: Only select tiers get international shipping, because international shipping fees are INSANE. 1-5 signed paperbacks can be shipped internationally. If you are REALLY determined to have a complete set of books, and you are willing to pay the $300+ to ship them, you can message me on kickstarter or facebook or leave a comment with your country, and we of the Furred & Frond Management will make an entry just for people in your country. Otherwise, it’s not happening.
The $75 to ship five books overseas (to most countries) gave the female hives.
This is how it works, briefly:
$5,800 covers ALL costs for the 28 base books to be brought into trade. It’s all or nothing. If you want to contribute to the cause but don’t want books, toss pennies in the jar. There’s a box for no rewards but contributions on kickstarter.
Every $500 over the $5,800 will unlock a new trade paperback. They’ll be included as add ons in the backer kit. Depending on how many are added, there may be delays to fulfill, as my designer has to do all the work. (Like, April is a hopeful. It may be later. We’re gonna TRY, but we’ll keep you updated as covers get finished.)
As you can tell from the kickstarter amount, it’s a lot for me to foot on my own. I’ll be reserving excess funds to cover future books as well, if this happens to go boomboom in terms of funding. I don’t expect it will. Honestly, we of the Furred & Frond Management will be very surprised if this hits goal.

If you need 15 books, open a second kickstarter account to do a second pledge. If you’re international and want the whole shebang… as I said above, message me with your country, and we’ll calculate the rough shipping fee.
The female rounded up expecting shipping fees to increase by April, but anything over what is paid is converted to swag, so it’s no issue. The female is NOT media mailing these books, so swag can be added at her whim.

Note: mass markets will be produced as normal. If you want mass market size instead of trade when you order, that can be done, you just need to contact me about it, otherwise you’re getting trade. (All books will have mass markets available.)
But it’s much cheaper to sign up using that other form that was shared for the mass markets.

No, they’ll be on Amazon. It’s just allowing preorders of the trade print editions. Plaidypus has been available for preorder for quite a while. Runaway doesn’t have a set release date. Most of my money is earned through ebooks, by far, so it’d be fiscal suicide to not release as ebook lolol
In a nutshell, this is a physical size of paperback I’m unwilling to pay for out of pocket, but people have been asking for it. So, they’re getting the option. Since Plaidypus and Runaway are in the two main requested series, they can preorder those two titles for the kickstarter.
As someone who would have to pay for ridiculous amounts of shipping costs, is there a chance that you will make the Royal kingdom books available as print on demand hardcovers (same as several romantic comedy books already are) once the Kickstarter is done?
Or is that so far in the future, that there’s no point in thinking about it yet?
There is zero chance I am doing hardback of any series at this point in time, and the hardbacks I had were discontinued.
Royal States is already available as paperback print on demand, and I will use the same distributor for overseas print-on-demand.
