Let’s just say my anxiety has been tripping for the past few weeks, life is hard, so I have been working on a hobby… one that I’m not all that good with and have a huge amount to learn. Photography! With a fun camera!
I do love my Sony a7ii… I don’t know wtaf I’m doing with it, but that’s fiiiiinnne. Here are some of my favorites from the past few days. Enjoy!
I have a love affair with the pink plant above. This is one of the first times I’ve gotten a decent picture of it. Something about the color gets crabby with my cameras. All of them.
I’ve probably taken 200+ pictures of this flowering tree. It delights in thwarting me.
I think this one is an herb, but I wasn’t brave enough to confirm it via taste. Possibly purple thyme of some sort. But this one is a lot of fun to photograph.
This photo is just a mood, and I love it.
I have no idea why I took this picture, but I like it.
If it is pink or purple and in my path, I’m photographing it. That’s a rule.
Enjoy the photos, and have a great day!
Camera: Sony a7ii. Lens: Lensbaby Burnside. I was practicing manual focus and aperture settings when I took these pictures.

Those are lovely. The white flower picture is excellent, the petals are in focus and the background is blurred. The lower the f stop number the more blur you will get, use manual focus and you’ll have great macro pictures! Have fun.

I’m also using a special lens that does twirl and blur and other things. The blur is specifically from the lens in this case. This lens is manual focus only; it has zero auto focus abilities because it doesn’t interface with the camera. Doesn’t have the software/sensors/connectors. It’s an old-school style lens. So manual focus is a requirement on this one lol
The Lensbaby lenses are really fun. The Burnside does a lot depending on the aperture and bokeh settings you select on the lens.
