Greetings, folks! As I know many of you enjoy holiday cards and writing letters to the cats (for which they’re grateful for, and they are shown anything sent to them), I have a new PO box.
If you would like to send Princess and Zazzle holiday gifts, please follow the guidelines listed below. They are both pretty picky, and we take care with what they are fed. If you absolutely feel you Princess and Zazzle deserve treats, here are their preferences:
Princess really, really likes Crustacean Celebration, Rockin’ Lobster, and Catnip flavored Temptations.
Zazzle adores Churu tubes of any flavor we will give her.
Their favorite toys are Yeooowwwlll Rainbows. We are required to keep numerous of these rainbows around the apartment, else they fight over them. By fight, I mean one heartbroken kitten watches the other kitten get high af, and overall, there is only sadness, so we must always have 2-4 out at a time.
Princess is a very old and tired kitty, so if you are angling to send her a holiday gift, she very much appreciates self-warming pads. (Link provided only to show you what they are… if you have an old, tired kitty with arthritis, these things are godly.) Fastest way to get a cat to actually use their cat bed? Have the self-warming option. It turns the cat’s natural warmth into even MORE warmth, and they are so so very appreciative!
Zazzle wishes we had more lazy pointies (laser points) because us humans are horrible and keep losing them. (We’re sorry, Zazzle…)
And as people will inevitably ask, yes, I have zero problems with receiving holiday cards depicting or celebrating religions I do not actively participate in. I am HORRIBLE about replying to letters and cards due to an anxiety issue involving the post office, but I keep a collection of all of the wonderful letters and cards I receive. They’re a joy. <3

USA
You can exclude the USA if you are within the US.
If you would like to possibly receive a post card, card, or a present from R.J. and Family, please fill out this form. Who gets what is completely randomized, and I will do as many as I can without losing my mind. It could be 10, could be 200, but it will be at least 10, and at least 1 person will receive an actual gift.
Happy Holidays, folks.
Mandatory Promotion Things Because Some Missed It.
P.S., because I know somebody will ask… I love counted cross-stitching.
1: Pets in Space 7 is available. I have a novella in it entitled Life-Debt. If enough people enjoy Life-Debt, I will expand Viva’s story and send her and Delta on adventures. If not, it’s fine and it’ll be left as is. (I dooooo love Viva and Pandora and Delta, and would like to send them on more adventures.) I will be doing more stories in this world. Any time you see me participating in an anthology like this, the option to expand will be available IF people like the characters enough, but the story will be written so I can just walk away and it’s done. So, the choice on that is in your hands.
(Please love Viva and Pandora and Delta, please love Viva and Pandora and Delta…)
2: Current list of active pen names are as follows: R.J. Blain, Susan Copperfield, Audrey Greene, G.P. Robbins, and Bernadette Franklin. I currently have 1 Sekrit Pen Name in progress.
3: Active list of projects being worked on include: Moon Tamed (Audrey Greene), Dead Weight (G.P. Robbins), Old Secrets (R.J. Blain), Requiem for the Rift King Series (R.J. Blain), Vampire of Montana (Agents of the Royal States #1) (Susan Copperfield), The Trickster King (Pat/Jessica #3) (Susan Copperfield), Super Sekrit Play Project from a New Pen Name, Iron Unicorn (Agents of the Royal States #2) (Susan Copperfield)
If it is not on the active list, it is on the to-do list. Once something on the active list is completed, something from the to-do list takes its place.
4: Yes, I WILL be doing a second Serial Killer Princess and a second Last but not Leashed book. Both of these stories will be included in a Magical Romantic Comedy anthology.
5: Yes, I will be continuing The Fox Witch World books, the Librarian books, and every other open series under the sun. I will be rotating these projects in as something from the active list is cleared off. I have *two* slots I’m working at for these current series in my mess of active lists trying to make sure everything gets done, with the general awareness that old series currently have priority as I try to wrap those up and finish those story lines.
Yes, I have a lot in progress. My brain is a weird and wonderful place, and variety is my spice of life. I N-E-E-D to step away from characters for a while and work on something else partway through a series. It lets me think, sanity check what I’ve done, and create stronger stories.
You absolutely don’t have to support everything I write, although it is so appreciated for those of you who do. I notice, and I’m grateful.
Here is a Quick Guide to my Pen Names:
R.J. Blain: Basically, anything goes. If it is planned to have romps, ridiculous humor, dark edges, and is spec fic, it goes here. There are going to be a lot of trilogy to quartets (and some longer series) here, but it’s a grab-bag pen name. Not Everything Matches.
Susan Copperfield: Royal-themed paranormal novels with a focus on characters, a healthy showing of ponies, and tends to cover serious subject matter, including child bride practices, etc. (Note: Read the bloody author’s note if you get upset about betrothal practices. This is literally speculative fiction about MONARCHIES in America. America practices child bride marriages, and monarchies are NOTORIOUS about child betrothals. If watching people fight to abolish these practices aren’t your jam or you’re too dense to figure out that’s the point of the series… read something else.)
I am not sorry if this offends you. I write about issues on all sides of the fence, and somethings, that means somebody will be offended.
It’s a book. If the author hasn’t done SOMETHING to offend you… they haven’t written a deep, thorough, and thoughtful book.
Or you only read things about people who believe just like you do. (And really, where’s the fun in that???)
Reminder: I am not what I write. I write a LOT OF THINGS I do not believe in, support, or personally care for. My! Characters! Are! Not! Me! Please stop confusing me with my characters. I insert my interests in food, cars, and animals as a general rule. But I also include foods I hate, cars I dislike, and animals I’d rather not be close to but my characters adore.
AKA, they are separate entities from myself.
Do my characters sometimes have overlap? Yes, of course.
Are they as similar to me as you think? Very probably not.
Moving onnnnnn~
Audrey Greene: Sweet flavored, low-conflict science fiction/paranormal shifters romances. These are just blatant cotton candy warm fuzzy feelings, fantasy fulfillment fiction where the characters get their happily ever after with minimal side trips. For something of this nature, the books are long, ridiculous, and just meant to be fun.
Warning: planets go boom, because even in sweet stuff, I just CAN’T RESIST DESTROYING EARTH. Okay? I! Can’t! Resist! (Sorry, Earth…)
Note: the characters do not live on Earth.
G.P. Robbins: Magic Police solving Mag Crimes in a Magic City filled with Dragons, Unicorns, Sentient Talking Songbirds and Hummingbirds, Unicorns, Unicorns, more Unicorns, and happily ever afters. High body counts. Definite violence. Underline the slow burn happily ever afters.
Bernadette Franklin: Contemporary romantic comedy with series subject matter. Think Mag Rom Coms but without the magic.
Sekrit Pen Name: Thar be Dragons Here.
Thank you for reading, have a wonderful holidays, and take care.

Absolutely LOVE Life-Debt. Thank you for the new characters (and Pandora’s new friend). Your stories are all fun/snickery/a little sneaky and happiness-bringing. No matter what genre/world you are writing in, they go to the top of my “to read” list. Take care of your lovely Princess. These elder statescats deserve their comfort. Thanks for the update on your furbabies and your projects. Keep taking care of yourself. You matter too.

I love your books! And I reread your books when I feel the need to fall into a particular world. I find something different each time. A pox apron the naysayers who can’t write just criticize. I didn’t put in for a present, your books are gift enough. Stay well and Thank You.

I’d love to see this in all of your books. Just to shut some of those that DO take offence (head shakes) and then follow that idiocy down that particular rabbit hole.
Love, love, LOVE all that you do. Keeping rocking you. *megahugs*

I mean, honestly… that would involve them having the base ability to comprehend things. This shouldn’t even need to be mentioned, but… here we are? (eep)

I am in a PhD level class on Angels and Demons. I am using your series for a project because I love the characters so much and it is Religious Studies- and I like to flip the script. It will be fun. Thanks for the downtime reads!

You’re welcome! Good luck on your project. :3

++ on Lifedebt. I wouldn’t mind reading more shorts of Viva or in that world.
Can I get a clarification on what Yeooowwwlll Rainbows are? Google was not helpful and the fluffy princess and sleek princess who rule our domain have inquiring minds.
The Sneaky Kitty Critic
Yeowww! 100% Organic Catnip Rainbow Toy, 3 Pack Is what we get them. It’s a catnip toy in the shape of a rainbow, and whatever Yeowww puts in them is like kitty crack on steroids. XD

Thanks much!

I need more foxes. Anything with foxes. And unicorns. I don’t know what I like better, foxes or unicorns. But definitely a yes for more foxes in space!
PS I have all 6th books of the Pets in Space and I was starting to doubt if I wanted to order the 7th book when the preorder came out until I saw your name. I hit that button so fast like lightning! It is a great charity that the money goes to but I was kind of losing interest until I say that you had a story in there! Thank you for assisting them in creating a great book for a wonderful cause.
