After a reader made a comment, I investigated Smashwords to discover it doesn’t actually have a preorder functionality. It does have wishlisting and following of authors to send reminders.
If you like to preorder/buy everything, I recommend that you use my per novel patreon. Books are a $5.99 each (for all titles that aren’t anthologies within $4.99 and 7.99; on average, you’ll save $1-2 a book.) Bonus: you’ll receive the book ahead of retail release. You also don’t have to track what comes out when, as I warn people of when the charged posts happen, then you’ll get an email when the book is ready to be downloaded (via bookfunnel) from your messages in Patreon.
In the meantime, I will look into if there are any vendors that do preorders of mailed files (like Smashwords) for those who use kindles and want their libraries in the same app.
Just as an FYI, my refrigerator broke yesterday, and I spent all of today cleaning the damned thing out. Everyone was tossed because the fridge can’t hold its temperature. (The freezer is surely on its way out the door as well.) The damage has been done and the maintenance dude gets weekends off, so I’m going to write in on Monday and just… try to get the apartment nice and clean and rage clean Saturday and Sunday. (I’m preparing it to be all perfect for the pet sitter. I am a messy person. It is not currently perfect.)
Let’s just say I’ve had better weeks, and we’ll leave it at that.
This is a picture I took of a flower in a park in April. Issa very pretty flower.

I use an iPad so both my BookFunnel and my Kindle are apps. I don’t know if it works this way on other devices, but for me, I can send my book from the BookFunnel app to my Kindle and then it is permanently in my Kindle. When I click on one of my books in my BookFunnel library, it has a ‘send to another device’ feature and Kindle is on the list of devices for anyone who wants all of their library in one place.

I am blatantly stealing this for instructions in the future, thank you.

Kobo lets you preorder.

Old Secrets is already available for preorder.
The Sneaky Kitty Critic
Yeah, but that doesn’t help those who want to read on their kindles / kindle apps.

Yeah my kindle is the Japanese manga version so it’s very picky on what I can do to it. I found the funds for Patreon though so it should be good!
