After consideration, and realizing I can be a dumb-dumb sometimes, I’ll be distributing the original third-person Requiem for the Rift King and the Eye of God debut novel after I am done running all three through the Pixie Patron+ read alongs. (What does this mean? It means that if you are a Pixie, Otter, Cindercorn, or Spicy Pony with Bite, you will get an anthology version of the book file after all three conclude their time.)
I will distribute the link to the book via private message, so you can claim it on bookfunnel in addition to the standard downloadable post, which will be available for a week. (The link to bookfunnel will be available for a while longer, but the download post will only be there for a week.)
My dumb-dumb brain clued in “once the read along portions are gone, it’s *gone*, and then I was like… yeah, should probably just give the Pixie+ crew the actual book file.
What I haven’t decided is if I will be copy-pasting all of the author notes from the beginning of each chapter to include in the back. I probably will because it doesn’t take THAT much time to do. (It will be a reference in the back instead of a header for each chapter.)
(Sorry about that. Brain really can be dumb-dumb, and I’m trying to get everything ready for the pet sitter for when I’m at DragonCon.)
Book mail will be happening week after DragonCon. I got some books in the mail, but I need to survive DragonCon before shipping books and closing out various parts of the kickstarter.
But the weekend or so after DragonCon will have a hefty chunka book mail going out my door. Hooray!
(But seriously, please forgive my dumb-dumb brain right now. It is currently broken and fixated on having a nice balcony to sit upon with little lights.)

Yay! Am super excited that I am finally able to be a yearly otter to get those books!

You are not a dumb-dumb. You’re just busy and stressed. Calling yourself names, even in jest, isn’t good (my large wife & my psychiatrist said so ). Please enjoy as much as you can.

Eh, I don’t care what your psychologist says, tbh. I acknowledge when I do stupid shit, and I call it as it is. When I’m being an idiot, call me an idiot. There’s nothing wrong with being open and honest about doing stupid shit and being a dumb-dumb. Because that’s exactly what I was doing.
Accepting that one can be a dumb-dumb is very healthy, frankly. It doesn’t matter WHY I was being a dumb-dumb.

There’s nothing needing forgiveness from where I sit. You’re juggling too many balls (books?) to not miss an item or two.

Getting ready for a trip always throws things off a bit. One’s brain is more on the preparations. Have fun!
