The next time a friend dared her to steal something, Kelsie would say no. Should the friend also be a succubus, not only would she say no, she would run for the nearest border faster than a bat fleeing the dark depths of hell.
Under normal circumstances, she didn’t even mind serving community service. It added spice to an otherwise boring day and gave her something productive to do.
Hoping to contain her prankster ways, the judge teams her up with a grouchy wolf of a cop with an attitude problem. According to her virus, Kelsie needs to get the good officer out of his pants. According to her common sense, the last thing she needs or wants is a goody-goody hampering her style and getting in her way.
When they’re assigned to help rescue kidnapped kittens, Kelsie knows one thing for certain: to create a Christmas miracle, she’ll do a lot more than bend the law—she’ll break it over her knee and unleash hell on Earth while she’s at it.
You can purchase Whiskers on Kittens at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, and Apple Books.
Happy reading!
Already read it because I have no respect for bedtime? Loved Kelsie and co? Please take a moment to leave a rating at your preferred retailers. It really helps. Is Whiskers now one of your favorites? A short review (one or two sentences is fine!!) telling readers a little about why can go a long way helping the book succeed!
In case you missed it, there is a group promotion to expose readers to fancy science fiction romances. Life-Debt is one of the books in the promotion, so if this sort of thing is up your alley, please give a click and check out the offerings!
And now… I’m going back to my hole. I’m working on a passion project today, and I am eager and ready to dive in and have myself a fabulous time!
(The kitties request that you please buy the book. They have learned that money is a necessary resource if they wish to take over the world. They have plans.)

Happy book birthday, R.J.!
To those undecided, it’s fabulous, a real Christmas-miracle story. And the ending is perfect in so many ways.

Fun fact: When I sent the book to my first editor, I literally told her the ending was garbage and that I may need to redo it and to be brutal about it and shit.
She came back with a “I’m confused, what needs to be changed?” basically.
Me: it’s horrible.
She did not agree with me…

I do love the way you pulled in characters from several of your previous books to aid and abet Kelsie. Loving this book.

Ok, so sometimes you have moments that are coincidences. And the, sometimes you have moments that are “What the Heck??” I’m having the latter. This started with me reading Karma, Licensed to Kill and Old Secrets, which have a basis in a family from Mt Everest, Nepal. Then, while I’m waiting for Whiskers on Kittens, I read “Enjoy the View” by Sarah Morgenthaler, which happens to feature a giant of a man (think Jason Momoa with his hair, but 6’6”) who is an outdoor/mountain climbing guide in Alaska, whose dream/passion is is to one day climb ……….. Mt Everest in Nepal; and whose name is ……..Easton. Ok, so far, things are ok. But, then I pick up Whiskers on Kittens, and 15 pages in, I find out that one of the main characters is named Easton.
I just about blew a gasket. Sometimes the universe just messes with you, and I think this is one of those moments.

lolololol that’s hilarious

How do I get the version with the Extended ending?
The Sneaky Kitty Critic
Any retail vendor except Amazon, as Amazon does not allow unedited/bonus material due to their error reporting tool. I recommend getting a kobo plus subscription and enjoying the huge library of books they have. (I believe it’s $7.99 for ebooks.)
The extended edition this go around includes a Bailey/Quinn short story.
