Rider of the Sun Horse takes place in the Requiem for the Rift King world, and it’s going to be my starting point for completely revamping everything to do with Requiem for the Rift King. Cindercorns and Spicy Ponies will be getting the unedited scenes followed with the edited scenes for this one while I work on replotting everything for Storm Without End.
Why not Otter+? Frankly, I’m doing the work on this over the weekend, and it’s not part of my “normal” work hours… I may do Storm Without End to Otter+, but the formatting will be different due to how much is going to be reworked. But, a lot of overtime is going into this, so as such, I’m giving it to the Cindies and Spicies. Really, it boils down to the extra everything that’ll be poured into this rewrite. Memento Mori gets worked on during regular work hours as time allows, so I’m much more comfortable with that going to Otter+… but to make Requiem happen again, I have to cut into my leisure time.
I hope y’all understand why I made that decision.
Enjoy the first unedited scene of Rider of the Sun Horse. I don’t know how extensive the editing will be. Why? Because my first step is to redraw all of my maps of the Requiem world. I need my maps, and the old ones just won’t work as well for what I need.

Are these new series you are releasing or old ones that I can find to read ahead of the revamp? I try to find and buy everything under your pen names but I’ve never heard of Requiem for the Rift King. I am upset with myself if I have missed this as I call everything you write my favorite. If these are to be released please let me know what pen name to look for both Sun King and Memento Mori under as I will definitely want to read them and let you know how much I love them. I mostly just buy the novels thru Kobo so I hope these will be there? If not I better start looking into the Preaton account.
I loved Trickster King and Dead Weight. They are such great stories with lots of chuckles and a few outright laughs. Love The Fox Witch for it’s more serious side. So PLEASE let us know if these will be coming out on the regular wire at Kobo and others or if we need to find this stuff at Preaton only. Thanks.
Still love and re read everything you write!

The original Requiem for the Rift King books are no longer available for sale/was taken off from sale a while ago. The rewrites will eventually be available at retail. But the original Requiem, if I do offer it, will be a Patreon-only thing.
