I have pressed the “go” button at all the usual suspects. I expect Kobo / Kobo Plus to distribute the audiobook edition first, as they tend to be the quickest. (Could be as early as today.) Audible will take 2-4 weeks to show up (as a general rule.)
You may start your engines and go on a hunt!
Bonus: The Prince of New York is now available for preorder at the following retailers:
Yes, it is priced at $7.99, as I’m 30,000 words into the book so far, and one of the key events in the description hasn’t been reached yet. This book will exceed 120,000 words. It is inevitable.
I have contracted the plague, my throat feels like there are glass shards in it, and when I messaged my doctor’s office about rescheduling physical and labs, the front desk person offered me a video appointment.
… I replied with a ‘that doesn’t help with the labs problem.’
To me, a routine physical is absolutely not an acceptable reason to run the risk of getting someone ill. So, hopefully, the next email she actually bothers reading… and if she doesn’t, by the end of the day, I will just reschedule for the first available spot beyond when I should be better, and I won’t gaf what she has to say about it.

Thank for the preorder

Yay, Whiskers on Kittens and Prince of New York!
The glass shards in throat sounds like what Ilona Andrews had this summer. I hope not, but if it’s Covid like hers, Paxlovid may help.
The Sneaky Kitty Critic
It’s probably viral bronchitis, as we were both exposed to someone who had recently had it.
Lynne
Ugh. I’m so sorry you’re miserable
Connie S.
Hope you feel better soon! Who is your reader for Whiskers on Kittens? 🙂
The Sneaky Kitty Critic
It is Keira Grace as usual.
Vicki Gable
Not on Kobo yet, but I’ll check again tomorrow!!!!
Eileen Stevens
Brilliant news. Thank you xx
Kady
Oh my gosh thank you for the preorder… hope you get feeling better soon
Margo
I hope you feel better soon.
I was wondering if you would be putting it with Chirp? I noticed that some/a lot of your books were no longer available there. Did I miss some thing?
The Sneaky Kitty Critic
It’s a gradual process to get back online with chirp after Findaway voices got rights theft happy. (And chirp made me very low amounts of money, so it’s a low priority compared to getting new books written.)
I do it as I have time.
Margo
Thank you for replying. I’m sorry they don’t make as much money for you. From my perspective they are not as big a crook as amazon.
The Sneaky Kitty Critic
They really aren’t, it’s just a matter of time, deadlines, etc. It’s not a quick process getting them uploaded, and I need at least an uninterrupted hour per audiobook. I’ve been doing them as time allows.

If you’re able to handle your own files/libraries, Patreon is the best place to purchase audiobooks. (I am paid ~$10 a copy on the full sized books versus the $2-4 a copy elsewhere.)
