I purchased Partner in Crime, which released on November 19, 2024 with Book ID 9781649641434 and received only the cover and the title instead of the complete novel. Please refund me for this title.

While I have a: asked for the book to be delisted b: asked all users to be refunded for the faulty book, neither of these things have happened yet. (Nor has the book been fixed.)
The new version IS live, however. Upon reading/confirming your new edition works, assuming you liked the book, if you could leave a positive review on the good copy, it would be appreciated. (Bonus points if you mention that the book works and is not the faulty edition.)
Once again, I apologize for the fuss. I had zero way of knowing there was anything wrong, as the website had registered the correct page length and reading time for the book, and that is the only tool Kobo gives us authors for fixing this.
Now, to report to my contact at Kobo that delisting books is not actually delisting them. Hooray.
What can go wrong will go wrong in spectacular fashions.

The original or the new version? (New version absolutely works. Old version did not work as of 30 minutes ago, and I then processed my own refund and got the new version.)
But in any case, the old version is queued from removal from the site (and while it will still be listed in your library, it will not be what is available moving forward)

I contacted Kobo today as just saw your facebook post. I contacted customer care and they didn’t know what I was talking about and were asking questions about how I had downloaded like I had made a mistake. I told them it is a known issue. They said they would contact the author and let them know and I said, the author already knows! No communication in their organisation.
I only got the options of refund OR fix, so I got my money refunded and am going to buy through your patreon page instead. I should have just done that in the first place!

I hadn’t had a chance to do anything yet and it looks like Kobo just sent me the new version automatically. It downloaded to my devices without me having to send them anything. Thanks for keeping everyone in the loop.

Thank you so much, I was saving it for Thanksgiving. All I had to do was re-sync my KOBO and the full novel downloaded. (I checked!) I am also saving Guiding Light. Four lovely days of being able to do nothing but read….Heaven.
